Meet the Teacher: On August 15th we will open our doors for Meet the Teacher!  Plan to come on campus anytime from 12-2PM.  At Meet the Teacher families will be able to:

• Take a self-guided tour of the new campus
• Meet your student’s teacher(s)
• Learn more about the Walking School Bus
• Plan your route to school
• Turn in Welcome Back Packets

We encourage families to park at Burberry or Elderberry Park and practicing a walking route to school.  Click HERE to learn more about the walking and driving routes as well as recommended parking areas.

Ways to Westlake: Now is the time: we need 100% of our families to collaborate on a smooth launch to the new year.

1. Please plan your route to and from school using the resources on waystowestlake.com.
2. Click Here to sign up to volunteer at least one 30 minute shift, within the first 30 days of school.

BASE Dates: Our BASE program has been going strong all summer! August 11th will be the last day of the summer program at our Pebblewood location. The BASE program will be closed on August 14th and 15th to allow us to get set up on our new campus! BASE will open for the 2017-18 school year on August 16th at 7AM at 2680 Mabry Drive. Welcome Back BBQ: We are officially kicking off the 2017-18 school year at our Annual Back to School BBQ on August 12th from 11AM-2PM at Valley Oak Park! This is a great day to meet other Explorer Families, reconnect with friends and relax next to our brand new campus. WAVE will provide BBQ, drinks, games, a bounce house and more while families are welcome to bring a side or dessert to share. We are also thrilled to welcome Bike Doc, a mobile bike shop on wheels, to join us this year. Just bring your bike (only one bike per person), and let a professional mechanic fix it up for free! Experts will be on hand to adjust, inflate, change, tune-up and grease. Bikes are received on a first come, first served basis, and bike repair will be limited to 11AM-2PM. Spirit Store: The Westlake Charter Spirit Store is open! We have a wide variety of items available including t-shirts, polos, outerwear and bags.  Just click HERE to browse our selection of WCS gear and place your order today.  The deadline to submit an order is August 28th at noon and items are scheduled to arrive in mid-September. Don’t delay, the next order won’t be made until Spring 2018.
