Announcements

Early Dismissal: We will have early dismissal March 13th-17th for all grades to allow for parent teacher conferences. Early dismissal times will follow our Wednesday dismissal schedule:

5th-8th Grade: 12:30 pm
Kindergarten: 12:45 pm
1st-4th Grade: 1:15 pm

Parent Conference: Please be sure to sign up for your 2nd trimester parent conference. Currently we have 86% of our K8 parent conferences scheduled. We look forward to having 100% of our explorer families come to a conference for their student(s). To schedule your conference please Click Here.

2017 International Festival – Saturday, April 1, 3-7 PM: The International Festival is quickly approaching on Saturday, April 1st! Are you interested in hosting a Cultural Booth? Our goal is to have 25 booths! Want to show off your baking skills? Donate a dessert for our Dessert Walk. Would you like to volunteer for a shift at the event? Pi Day: This Tuesday we are celebrating Mathematician’s favorite day of the year:  3/14 or Pi Day 3.14! We will be celebrating Pi day with some Math Monday activities during Morning Line Up. On Tuesday we will have  Pi Day activities at lunch recess. Please contact Mrs. Battin at [email protected] if you are interested in joining the Pi Day fun!

End of the Trimester: The last day of this trimester was Friday, March 10th. At the end of the trimester students will wrap up with their current units of study and head into new adventures in their learning. As a celebration of our learning, we will be celebrating academic success on Friday, March 17th at 9:15am for 6-8th grade and 10:00am for 5th grade.

Student-Led Conferences: We look forward to seeing all our families next week on campus. Remember, these conferences are student-led. Please be sure that you and your student attend this conference together. They have been preparing over multiple weeks to present their learning to you. Don’t forget to visit our specialty team in the learning center during conferences. If you have not signed up and need assistance, please call the front office.
