It was a night of excitement and luck at WAVE’s annual Bingo Night! Westlake Charter families daubed cards, shouted “BINGO”, and spent time with friends new and old. Congratulations to all our winners from the evening! Many thanks to our WAVE volunteers and the families who attended for making family nights like this a memorable experience.

It has been incredible to see our new math curriculum in action in our K-5 classrooms. Math communities are being established, rich collaborative conversations are happening, and our amazing teachers and students are learning together as we have launched our math program.

Our high school astronomy class had an out-of-this-world experience on their recent field lesson at the Sacramento State Planetarium. Students were able to experience a live, interactive tour of our solar system and galaxy. Thank you Domina Stamas for organizing and leading this opportunity for our students to explore!

K-8 Announcements

Traffic/Parking Reminders: Please be respectful and mindful of others during our arrival and dismissal process.  Following traffic rules is an essential part of maintaining a safe environment for children. This includes parking in designated areas, adhering to the instructions of school staff, and obeying traffic laws. Traffic rules help to ensure that students are not in harm’s way when they are entering and exiting vehicles. When drivers obey traffic laws, they are less likely to be in an accident or cause a disruption in the flow of traffic. Additionally, traffic laws help to reduce congestion and provide a safe environment for pedestrians.

Lost and Found: Our lost and found is overflowing with jackets, lunch boxes, water bottles and more! Thank you to our incredible parent volunteers for organizing our Lost and Found on Friday!
