Teachers, Parents, and Students all had a chance to taste some great chili at the teacher-inspired Chili Cook-Off event at WCMS. Hundreds came out to try out chili that had been made from every class in order to settle just who made the best chili.
Hundreds and hundreds of votes were cast, but in the end, event organizer Mrs. Sutton’s class ended up taking the top prize, and the school was able to raise close to $1,800 in funds. Students of the winning class will also receive a special party and decide where the funds are spent.
The night became extra exciting when Jen Wilhelm took on DJ’ing duties under the pseudonym “DJ Cheeseburgers”.
