Statement of Non-Discrimination
Westlake Charter School (WCS) will not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic that is contained in the definition of hate crime set forth in law, including immigration status.
Tuition Fee
WCS is a tuition-free public school.
Non-Sectarian
WCS is non-sectarian in its programs, admission policies, employment practices, and all other operations.
California Education Code Compliance
Westlake Charter School shall not discourage a pupil from enrolling or seeking to enroll in a charter school for any reason. This notice is available year-round, and is being provided to all members of the public, including those who inquire about enrollment/disenrollment of a pupil.
Enrollment in Other District Schools
No student shall have any right to enrollment in another school or program of the Natomas Unified School District by virtue of their enrollment in WCS.
Public Random Drawing
WCS shall admit all pupils who wish to attend the school subject to its capacity. If the number of pupils who wish to attend the school exceeds the school’s capacity at any grade level, enrollment shall be determined by public random drawing in accordance with the enrollment preferences. Public Random Drawings will be held at Westlake Charter School, 2680 Mabry Drive. The public is welcome to attend; your presence is not required. Please make alternative arrangements for your children; there is no childcare available and the room must remain as disruption-free as possible.
