Immunizations: There are new California guidelines for immunizations beginning July 1, 2019. Reach out to your personal physician to update these vaccines, or for families  in need, you may take advantage of the free immunization clinic from 5pm to 8pm on May 14th at the B. Teri Burns clinic located on the Natomas High School campus. For many of our students, the only update is 2 doses (rather than 1) of the chickenpox vaccine will be required. We will send out letters to those who are impacted. Click HERE for a Parent’s Guide to Immunizations.

Boot Bucks – May is Bike Month: If your child has been working hard biking and walking this year, they have one last chance to spend those boot bucks. K-2nd has prize day May 16th at their recess before lunch and 3rd-8th have their Boot Buck store May 21st also at lunch recess. Please remind students to bring their trip scanners to lunch recess. Kudos: Thank you to every family who made Staff Appreciation week extra special by sending a note, treat, gift or message to our absolutely amazing WCS Staff. WAVE hosted several events for staff, decorated campus and delivered special gifts last week to show our gratitude. Special thanks to Melissa Moreno, Karen Zedek and Aileen Go Policarpio for working unbelievably hard to make this all come together.
