Celebrations
Thank you to the amazing families who have come out to teach our students dances from around the world this month. We have learned dances from Egypt, India, and Germany!
The International Festival committee has been meeting almost weekly to make this the best International Festival ever! Thanks to that team for all of their hard work.
These two third-grade students were inspired by the month of Global Perspective! They created an interview and used it to learn about the amazing cultures at WCS. Way to go, Callie and Jiya!

International Festival: Saturday, April 1, 3-7 PM: The 12th Annual International Festival is about a week away! The plans are coming together quite nicely and this year’s event will be one of the best!! We still need contributions and your support to ensure that this event is a success. From Cultural Booth hosts to desserts for the Dessert Walk, equipment and supply donations to parent volunteers; we can’t do it without you! Your student’s grade level Raffle Basket is also in need of donations. HERE is information from the International Festival committee. Spring Picture Days: Spring picture day will be optional this year. All Del Paso students will have free dress on Thursday April 6th. Only students who have prepaid AND filled out this form will be sent to the photographer to have their picture taken. Picture packets will go home this week. If you would like to have your student’s spring picture taken by Lifetouch, please fill out this form AND prepay online or send payment in the packet.
Food: Families, we are working hard to keep food out of classrooms and off the playground. Please remind your student to follow these expectations to help keep our campus clean and students safe.
Open House Date Change: Pebblewood Open House will be May 3rd. This is a date change from May 17th. Please note the change on your calendar. We look forward to this great event of showcasing student learning!
8th-Grade Grade Checks: If your student is in 8th-grade, the official grade checks begin this week. If you do not get a grade check from your child’s Advisory teacher on Wednesday morning, please reach out to your child’s advisor.
Save the Date: Spring Pictures will be taken on Friday, April 28th.
