Thirty-five students participated and really impressed everyone with their S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G abilities! Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winner, Eighth Grade Explorer Kean Garcia who will be moving on to the next round of Spelling Bee competition!
The STEM Career Night at WCHS is back! Students and families once again connected with community professionals across diverse STEM fields. Volunteers shared their expertise in engineering, medical sciences, technology, environmental research, and more, helping students envision future career possibilities. Thank you to all the community volunteers who generously gave their time, and to Ms. Stamas, Ms. Luna and Ms. Salvador for organizing another successful evening of exploration and inspiration.
Third grade took learning beyond the classroom with a field trip to the Nimbus Fish Hatchery! While studying adaptations and life cycles, students learned all about salmon in different stages of development and discovered how these fish survive in their environment. It was an engaging and memorable learning experience.

If you or someone you know has an awesome career and would be interested in sharing about it with our students, please CLICK HERE to express interest and our counselors will reach out to you.
