The WCHS Commons has been smelling extra amazing lately, and we have Mr. Kanemasu-Mar and his chemistry classes to thank! Chemistry students have been exploring the science of cooking through bread and calzone making. Mr. Kanemasu-Mar has turned scientific inquiry into something you can taste! Here’s to hands-on science that feeds both the brain and the senses!

Strategic Plan Family Focus Groups: As Westlake Charter School continues to grow and evolve, your voice is essential in shaping our path forward! We are so grateful to the families who filled out our Strategic Plan Family Survey prior to October Break.

Our next step in this process is to hold Family Focus Groups for those who are interested in exploring key topics raised in the survey, such as Positive Student Behavior, Academic Readiness, Positive Student Relationships, Social-Emotional Readiness, and more.
