Westlake Charter High School is thriving with incredible student-led clubs making a real impact! Our Key Club has been spreading kindness by making sandwiches for unhoused community members, the ECHO Club hosted Sacramento PD for an engaging and educational experience, our Film Club has been honing their craft and learning how to capture compelling shots, and so much more. We’re so proud of the creativity and leadership our students bring to every club.

Attendance Campaign Update: We are excited to launch a new digital communication campaign this year to engage, educate, and celebrate attendance with your family!

Our goal is to build a strong culture of achievement, starting with the habit of showing up. Regular attendance helps students succeed academically and socially. Throughout the year, we’ll connect in various ways:

  • Recognizing students with 95% or higher attendance
  • Notifying families when absences are higher than the average
  • Celebrating attendance improvements
  • Identifying when students may benefit from additional support

Please be on the lookout for our emails and texts—these messages are meant to support you. We will be sharing helpful, positive information so our children can thrive. We believe that together, we can strengthen our partnership and ensure all of our students have the opportunity to succeed.

We look forward to celebrating our achievements together!

Middle School After School Live Athletics – Volunteer Coaching Opportunities: We are excited to be relaunching our Middle School ASLive Athletics program, which is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Practices and games last from 3:15 – 4:15 PM every day except Wednesdays. CLICK HERE to complete the Volunteer Coach interest form to let us know if you are interested in finding out more about coaching flag football, basketball, or volleyball!

Bully Prevention Month: October is National Bully Prevention Month. Throughout the month, both campuses will be doing activities to promote the importance of getting to know one another and how to take an active role in creating a more empathic and inclusive community.
