Community Support Celebration: We want to share a celebration for a couple staff members who were able to help a community member this week. Two of our program aides witnessed a community member out in the street in distress and quickly radioed the admin team for support.  A short time later the Sacramento Fire Department and Police Department came to the aid of the individual in need. While this matter began in Downtown Sacramento, and did not involve any WCS students or staff, we wanted to let you know in case you witnessed the emergency vehicles on site at our K-8 campus this week. Nice work to our team for the quick, caring, and compassionate response!

If you have any questions regarding this, or any WCS matter, please do not hesitate to reach out to our admin team directly. Thank you for all that you do.

We will be installing a mobile security camera on the K-8 blacktop during February break. This camera is provided by our partners at NUSD and will not be used during the school day, but we hope that it helps reduce traffic on the campus while our students and staff are away on vacation.
