Our Kindergarten and 1st grade Explorers had fun end-of-year celebrations. Our Kinders said “Aloha to Kindergarten” and our 1st graders put on an amazing performance of Rumpus in the Rainforest.

Let Us Know: If your family is moving and your student needs to disenroll, please CLICK HERE to complete the Student Check Out and Transfer Form so we can make their transition to the new school as smooth as possible. Lost and Found: The Lost & Found at each campus is overflowing with jackets, lunch boxes, water bottles and more!  All unclaimed items will be donated on Friday, June 14th.

Family Survey: The Family Survey is taken 3 times a year. CLICK HERE to answer six questions to rate your family’s experience at Westlake Charter School during the 2023-24 school year. The deadline is Tuesday, June 11th.

Infinite Campus Parent Portal: In August, we will be sharing middle school and high school schedules via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. They will not be individually emailed, they will only be released in the portal. To make sure you will have access to this information, please take the following actions:

2024 Westlake Charter School Fireworks Booth:  We are so excited to be continuing the Westlake Charter School Fireworks Booth this summer!  We will have the same booth location as last year:  2606 Gateway Oaks Drive, near Starbucks and Mountain Mikes Pizza. Proceeds from the booth will support our WCHS athletics program. We are looking for volunteers to fill shifts from June 28th through July 4th. CLICK HERE to sign up for a shift.

A Special Goodbye and Celebration: After over a decade of amazing leadership and service to this incredible community of Westlake Charter School, Emily Battin is embarking on a new leadership journey. Report Cards: If your student was absent on the last day of school, please reach out to [email protected] for a digital copy of their report card.  Hard copies will be available for pickup when the front office reopens for the 2024-25 school year.

Basketball Summer Skills Training Camps: We are excited to announce our Summer Basketball Training Camp, open to all Explorers from 5th through 8th grade. This co-ed camp is a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to develop their basketball skills, improve their fitness, and enjoy a fun and engaging sports environment. Our experienced coaching staff, led by Coach Sterling and Coach T, along with the support crew from the WCHS Varsity Basketball Teams, is dedicated to providing top-notch training and mentorship throughout the camp.  CLICK HERE to view the flier for more information.

BASE Summer Camp: BASE will be open over summer break with exciting themed weeks of activities. Superhero week is first, followed by Animal Kingdom and Sports Spectacular, with more to come in July!

  • BASE Summer Camp will be open June 10th – June 28th and July 8th – August 2nd.
    • Incoming kindergarteners are eligible to start attending on July 8th.

9-12 Announcements

WCHS Summer Athletics:  As summer approaches, we want everyone to be  aware of athletic opportunities available during the summer. Our athletics department is offering a variety of opportunities for athletes to  improve their skills and prepare for the year ahead. If you would like to learn more about summer offerings, reach out to our athletics department at [email protected]. They will be happy to provide you with information about summer opportunities, answer questions you may have, and guide you through the athletic clearance process.

Senior Pictures: Bill Smith Photography will be the official photographer for this year’s senior portraits. Students will need to sit for a yearbook portrait and families will be able to opt in to additional portrait options. Bill Smith photography will reach out to senior families with more information regarding scheduling the photo sessions.
