Parent Survey: The Parent Survey is taken 3 times a year. CLICK HERE to answer six questions to rate your family’s experience at Westlake Charter School during the 2022-23 school year. The deadline is Friday, June 2nd.
Last Day of School dismissal Time: Please remember, on the last day of school Wednesday, June 7th all grades levels, K-10th, will be dismissed at 12:00pm.

K-8 Field Day: Mark your calendars for our K-8 Field Day on Tuesday, June 6th. Help us end an amazing year by signing up to volunteer or make a donation for Field Day, CLICK HERE to volunteer or make donations to Field Day. Families, we need your help! This year, June 6th will be a free dress day and each grade level will represent a different color t-shirt. Please see what color shirt to have your child wear that day!
BASE Summer Camp Registration: Great news! BASE Summer Camp will be open this summer!
- Dates: June 12 – July 1 and July 12 – August 8, 2023
- **BASE will be closed June 9-10 and July 10-11 for professional development and staff work time.**
- Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Rates: $8.50 hourly with a $60 daily maximum per student (and 10% sibling discount)
- Pre-payment is not required for attendance and drop-ins are welcome.
- For planning purposes, kindly CLICK HERE to register anyone in your family who will be joining us this summer. Please complete one form for each student. Email [email protected] with any questions.
23-24 Parent Information Sessions: Our WCS counselors are planning parent information sessions for next year and we would love your input. If you did not have the opportunity to complete this Family Needs Survey at Open House last week, please CLICK HERE and take a moment to fill out the survey now. We appreciate your input because it helps us to offer sessions that benefit our families most.
9-12 Announcements
Chromebook Check-in, June 6th: Chromebooks and charging cords will be collected on Tuesday, June 6th for inventory, cleaning, and updating. Please make sure your student has their Chromebook and charging cord at school on June 6th to return. The same Chromebook will be reissued to students for the 23-24 school year. If you have questions regarding Chromebooks and/or technology access reach out to [email protected].
Sports Uniform Check-in: We are busy preparing for our future athletic seasons and this means we need all uniforms to be turned in for inventory. If your athlete has any part of a sports uniform from a previous season, please have them turn it in at the front desk.
End of Year Dates and Events: Families we are excited to celebrate the end of year with the classes of 2025 and 2026! Please see below for our end of year events and opportunities to volunteer.
- Swim Party – June 3rd:
- All WCHS students are invited to a swim party on Saturday, June 3rd from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. This will be a private party just for our WCHS students at the North Natomas Aquatic Center. If you’d like be part of this event CLICK HERE to volunteer and/or donate.
- Yearbook Distribution – June 5th:
- Students who ordered yearbooks will receive them on Monday, June 5th. We will have an extended lunch schedule on this day to allow student to receive their yearbooks and get signatures if they want. If your student still needs to purchase a yearbook we have less than 25 available to order. CLICK HERE to purchase.
- Field Day – June 7th:
- Get ready for Westlake Charter High School’s first ever Field Day! On our last day of school we will see Advisories going head-to-head in games and activities. Which advisory will come out the champion of the year and win the grand prize?!? If you’d like to join in on the fun CLICK HERE to volunteer and/or donate.
Algo Bueno Fundraiser: Our next restaurant fundraiser is coming up on Tuesday, June 6th from 3-9pm at Algo Bueno (2990 Northgate Blvd). Please order over the phone or in person and mention Westlake Charter School to make sure WAVE receives 20% of the total sales. Thank you for the continued support!
Spirit Store: We have added over 50 new items to our Spirit Store including High School athletics gear. CLICK HERE to purchase hats, mugs, bags, sweatshirts, ladies fit items, and more. WAVE does not have an inventory so please be sure to check sizing information before placing your order. All items are made to order and shipped directly to you.
23/24 Event Ideas: Before we begin to create the calendar of events for the next school year, we would like to hear from your family. What events would you like to see return? Volunteer Hours Log: Now is the time to log all of your hard earned hours for the 2022-23 school year. Hours can be logged for attending WAVE meetings, chaperoning field lessons, volunteering at International Festival, attending Coffee Talks, preparing class work at home, or any other activity supporting Westlake Charter School. Logging hours not only goes hand in hand with our Westlake Charter School Mission, but it is an integral part of the Charter Renewal process.
