CAASPP Testing: Our statewide testing window will take place between April 24th-May 31st for our 3rd-8th grade students. Our theme this year is Lights, Camera, Testing! Students are the stars of the show and the spotlight is on them as they shine and show what they know! We know they will do their best. You can help your child be prepared for testing each day by ensuring they have had a good night of sleep, ate a nutritious breakfast, and are on time each day!
9-12 Announcements
PSAT: We have been working with our partners at the College Board and established Level II authorization, which means that we are able to offer the PSAT and SAT. Our plan will be to offer the PSAT/NMSQT to 11th graders each fall and offer the SAT in the spring of 11th grade.
College Field Lessons: Our 9th and 10th grade students will be attending our annual College Field Lessons on May 2nd. Our 9th graders will visit UC Davis and Sonoma State University. Our 10th graders will visit San Francisco State University. On May 2nd students should make sure to arrive to campus on time and report to their Advisory classes when the 8:30 bell rings.
Fireworks Booth: Families we are so excited to partner with our WAVE team to offer a Fireworks booth to our community. The proceeds from the Fireworks Booth will support our High School Athletics and Activities. At this time we need both a family or families to lead the fireworks booth and we will be reaching out to our community to sign up for shifts to cover the fireworks sales at the booth. If you are interested in taking a lead roll in coordinating the fireworks booth reach out to [email protected].
Food Delivery: We are not able to accept food deliveries from services such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc. at WCHS. Thank you for your understanding and support with this policy.
Staff Appreciation Week: National Staff Appreciation Week is coming up the week of May 8th-12th. We need your help to make this week fantastic for each and every staff member. More information will be coming home soon but we are collecting donations now. Thank you so much for all you do to support our incredible staff.

We will set up over a dozen games including cornhole, giant Connect Four, giant Jenga, Ladder Ball, and many more. We will have snacks and drinks available, but families are welcome to bring dinner out to the event. This event may be on our High School campus but it is open to all K-12 families. Kudos: Our Walk and Bike to School team is incredible. They help students get to school safely each and everyday, hold stores for students to shop with their points, encourage students to keep choosing active transportation, and greet families entering our campus. Thank you to Karina, Meaza, Kristine, Tejal, Anjelica, Brittany, Monica, Nidhi, and Cristi!
