Celebrations

Our 8th graders have had a special last week of school. They were able to take the end of year Santa Cruz trip where they toured UC Santa Cruz, completed a service project, and went to the Boardwalk. They had promotion practice and a brunch provided by families. And just this morning they promoted into high school. Thank you to each and every staff member who poured into these students! #WestlakeCharter

Our Westlake Charter High School 9th graders have had an incredible last week of school. It started with a field lesson to tour Sonoma State and UC Davis on Monday. Tuesday brought leadership workshops, a trip to Quarry Park, and an overnight lock in with silent disco, art, movies, e-sports and more.

First Day of School: Save the date for our first day of school for the 2022-23 school year. School will resume on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Keep your eyes on your inbox in late June with details about the fall!

Parent Survey: The Parent Survey is taken 3 times a year. CLICK HERE to answer six questions to rate your family’s experience at Westlake Charter School during the 2021-22 school year. The deadline is Friday, June 10th.

Summer Office Hours:  Our Mabry campus will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30am to 3:00pm throughout the summer. 

Lost & Found: Our Lost and Found will be donated on Friday, June 17th. Campus will be open from 8 am to 6 pm this week if you need to check for a missing item. 

Open Classified Positions: Our Classified Positions for the 2021-2022 school year are now posted! We are accepting applications now for interviews this summer. We are looking for Instructional Aides, Yard Duty, and BASE Staff! CLICK HERE for more information and to apply. 7th Grade TDAP: 6th grade families – if you haven’t already turned in your proof of the TDAP immunization, please email it to [email protected] or turn it into the front office. As a reminder, 7th grade students will not be able to attend school without this immunization.

BASE Summer Camp Registration: Great news! We have enough interested families to open a BASE summer camp! For planning purposes, kindly CLICK HERE to register any WCS students who will be joining us this summer. Please complete one form for each student. Email [email protected] with any questions.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Dates: Monday-Friday,  June 13th – July 1st and July 11th – August 5
  • Hours: 8:00am-6:00pm
  • Rates: $8.50 hourly with a $60 daily maximum per student
  • Pre-payment is not required for attendance and drop-ins are welcome.
