Parent Survey Due 3/12: Please click HERE fill our parent survey use to rate your family’s experience at Westlake Charter School during the 2018-19 school year.  These questions help us evaluate how we are doing on our current strategic plan. Deadline 8:00 AM on Tuesday, March 12th.

March into Spring: Westlake Charter School is working towards 1,000 trips on the Walking School bus in the month of March! If we get 200, trips next week Mrs. Battin will come to Friday’s Walking School Bus with a prize for all of the Friday walkers.  Please review the Pedestrian Safety Pledge with your students.  If you want to help out with recognizing students and families who are being safe pedestrians  Click HERE to select a date and time to help.

Spring Enrichment Classes Sign Up Today: This is the last chance to sign up for our spring session of enrichment; classes start next week! Click HERE to see a list of class offerings and to sign your student up. Remember, scholarships are available! Email [email protected] with questions.

6-8 Advisory Fishbowl: Please join us as our 6-8 grade students discuss ways to address the important topic of Bully Prevention. On March 15th from 8:15 AM – 8:57 AM, you will join a small group of 6-8th grade students and a staff member and engage in a guided conversation about Bully Prevention. Healthy Living Night-New Date: Our Healthy Living Night has been rescheduled for Friday, April 26th at 6pm. We will be talking, learning and participating in topics like food, gardening, fitness, finances and more. 2019 International Festival: You do not want to miss this incredible event! The International Festival Committee is busy planning this amazing event which is quickly approaching on April 6th from 3-7pm. Are you interested in hosting a cultural booth to share food, crafts or activities of your heritage? Please contact [email protected] for more information or sign up to host a booth HERE. We are hoping to break the record for number of booths this year!

Parent Mixer Survey: WAVE invites you to participate in our first Parent Mixer! A parent/guardian event is a great way to meet or reconnect with other families at Westlake Charter School. This is a parent/guardian only event so childcare will need to be obtained. Please Click HERE to fill out a survey to help us organize our first ever Westlake Charter School Parent Mixer. WAVE Board Elections: Are you interested in being part of the WAVE board? Joining the board is a great way to help plan the next year’s activities, continue building and strengthening our WCS community, lead fundraising and work with administration to support the school’s mission. All board positions for President, VP of Business Affairs, VP of Parent Participation, Treasurer and Secretary are coming up for elections in April.
