Trimester 2 Parent Survey:  Click HERE to complete our Trimester 2 Parent Survey. We survey parents each trimester to get feedback on how we are meeting our strategic plan. Some initiatives that have come from the parent survey are sending weekly texts, After School LIVE, and the upcoming launch of the Parent’s Sports Committee. Sunday, March 18th is the last day to submit your survey.

Westlake Athletics Program: We are calling all families who have any background experience in managing, coaching or facilitating sports programs to come to a special meeting. The Parent Athletics Coalition meeting will be held Thursday, March 29th at 6:00pm, in the multi-purpose room. At this meeting, we will be soliciting parent expert advice on how to best develop a WCS Athletics Program to launch in the Fall of 2018.

Spring Session After-School LIVE: Spring After-School LIVE runs from April 9 – May 25. Please click HERE to sign-up to lead a club and provide our Explorers with joyful learning experiences! Minute to Win It Night: Please join us for a laid back evening of games, laughter and timers! The challenges begin at 6pm on Friday, March 23rd. You will not want to miss this event!

2018 International Festival: Calling all Explorer Families! We are searching for cultural booth hosts to share food, crafts and activities of their heritage at our annual festival on April 7th from 3-7pm! We are trying to have more cultures represented than ever before this year! Please contact [email protected] for more information or click HERE to sign up to host a booth.

WCS Spirit Store: The Spirit Store will be opening on Monday, March 26th! There will be a couple new items and samples will be available at the International Festival for families check sizes and colors. The store closes on Monday, April 9th at noon.

Arden Fair Mall School Cents Competition: Did you know WCS is in the running to win the $3,000 grand prize? Showing your report cards at the mall’s guest services desk (by JCPenney) WILL make the difference! Each report card counts for up to 5,000 points with 1,000 points for each ‘A’ or ‘3’ thru April 30th. Also, save the date for the next music/dancing Kids Club on April 21st from 10-11am and each child in attendance will earn 1,000 points for our school. March triple point stores at Arden Fair Mall are Claire’s, BareMinerals, J.Crew, Brookstone and Lucky.
