At WCS, we showcase the power of collaboration between school and community! Docents from Sutter’s Fort visited our campus to provide a hands-on, immersive learning experience for our First Grade Explorers, serving as the culmination of their on-campus field lessons. Students rotated through various classrooms, engaging in interactive demonstrations. Additionally, the Sacramento Sheriff’s Youth Unit visited our Kindergarten classes as part of their Community Helpers unit, offering valuable insights and real-world connections.
