End of year update: The calendar has been adjusted to end the school year on May 27th. Westlake will use this time to allow our staff time to clean our classrooms, wrap up the year and prepare for the fall. Please keep an eye out for an updated calendar that will list everything from Promotion to Open House, Coffee Talks, and even a potential Distance Learning Field Day!

May is Bike Month: Be on the lookout for links and instructions to log your bike trips throughout the month of May. Bike rides are a great way to stay active and get some fresh air during our time away from school. 

Volunteer Hours Contest: The results are in! Every grade level had a significant number of volunteer hours logged during the month of March. However, 3rd grade families came close to doubling the number of hours logged in the previous 7 months. Way to go 3rd grade! It isn’t too late to log your hours. Do not forget to log hours for meetings attended, field lessons, at home prep work, coffee talks, WAVE meetings and so much more! Click HERE to log all hours at once in just a couple of minutes.

Kudos: Over the past few weeks parents have stepped up in unbelievable ways. We see you helping your child with class work, working in the home, working out of the home, giving your children stability and finding connections.
