Yearbook Orders: Click HERE to order your 2018-19 yearbook by Friday, May 24th at 3:00 pm. The cost is $20. We have a limited quantity so don’t delay in placing your order – orders will only be filled while supplies last. Yearbooks will be delivered the last week of May.

May is Bike Month is here…and it’s changed!: Families – fill out the Bike Month pledge form that was sent home this week, and return it to school by THIS Monday, April 29th to get a t-shirt.

Standards Based Grading Parent Night: Come join us for our 3rd Standards Based Grading Parent Night Thursday, May 2nd. We will be discussing the launch of our new report card for the 2019-20 school year.

Progress Reports: Progress reports were sent home in backpacks on Friday. Please take this time to check in with your student on their progress this trimester. Please sign the cover sheet and return it by Friday, May 3rd.

Westlake Charter High School Survey due May 6th: We need your input to create the greatest high school in Sacramento! Click HERE to complete our survey by Monday, May 6th at 3:00 PM.

Staff Appreciation Week due May 6th: Staff Appreciation Week is May 6th – 10th. One of our annual traditions is to share notes of appreciation from our families with our staff. Click HERE by Monday, May 6th to send a note of appreciation to a Westlake Staff Member. It will be shared with them during Staff Appreciation Week.

AS Live Clubs: We have an awesome line-up of spring clubs starting tomorrow, but we still need FIVE adult chaperones. If you are fingerprinted through Westlake and can help us out, please sign up here tonight! It’s only one hour a week for four weeks.

Stewardship Contest: This month, we are excited celebrate the core value of Stewardship by working with Joey’s Food Locker to help those in need in and around our community. Please bring canned food donations to the front office by May 3rd. If we get 250 canned food items the entire school will get a free dress day!

WAVE Meeting: Please join us for the final WAVE meeting of the year on Thursday, May 2nd at 7pm in the Media Center. We will go over events and fundraising for the 18-19 school year and do some planning for next year. We hope to see you there!

Volunteer Hours Contest: Now is the time to log all of your hard earned hours for the 2018-19 school year. The grade level with the most hours logged between April 6th and April 30th will win a popsicle party and a huge shout out! Logging hours not only goes hand in hand with our Westlake Charter School Mission, but it is an integral part of the Charter Renewal process. Staff Appreciation Week: National Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is May 6-10th and is always a very special week at Westlake Charter School. Each day we ask that your students participate by celebrating and showing appreciation for their teachers or a special member of our staff.
