Parent Teacher Conference: Parent Teacher conferences will be held March 12th – 16th. Click HERE to sign up for your student’s conference. Click HERE for instructions on how to sign up. We look forward to having 100% of our families attending a 1st trimester conference. Remember, March 12th – 17th will be early dismissal for all grades to allow for time to meet with each of our families.
BASE is Open Conference Week: All grades have early dismissal for the week of conferences, March 12th – 16th. Kindergarten will dismiss at 1:00pm and 1st – 8th grade will dismiss at 1:30pm. BASE will be open all week until 6:00 pm.
Spring Session After-School LIVE: Spring After-School LIVE runs from April 9 – May 25. Please click HERE to sign-up to lead a club and provide our Explorers with joyful learning experiences! Polar Bear March: Get your kids walking for the Polar Bear March! Students are encouraged to walk, bike or scoot to school every morning and afternoon during the month of March. Every time they scan their card they earn points for their class.
The challenge inspires and empowers students to make positive environmental changes. The grade level with the highest percentage of students walking to school will celebrate by “adopting” a polar bear through the organization, Polar Bears International.
2018 International Festival: Save the Date for this WCS favorite! The International Festival Committee is busy planning the event which is quickly approaching on April 7th from 3 to 7pm on our beautiful new Explorer Campus. Be on the lookout for a flyer coming home with more information!

Volunteer Contests: WAVE is sponsoring a Classroom Volunteer Contest! The middle school advisory class and elementary class with the highest number of volunteer hours will receive $100 for the teacher to spend in the classroom and a party for the entire class to celebrate. Please Click HERE to visit the new form to log your hours! Our new form consists of 4 simple steps and hours can all be logged at once (just add them all up).
