As we look forward to moving into our #ExplorerCampus, we have started piloting furniture that supports our 21st century learners in a few classrooms across campus.
Kindergarten teachers and families came together to create a Heritage Feast. They spent time celebrating the heritage traditions of our diverse explorer community!
Westlake is proud of the work our staff is doing to make transitions In-N-Out of lunch orderly, organized and safe for our students! Way to go, Explorers!

PBIS campaign launch:
On campus this week our students will be learning a new PBIS campaign called “Explorers, Don’t Miss Your Meal.” This behavior campaign will focus on how students get in and out of the cafeteria safely and respectfully. We want to streamline these structures so students have optimal time to eat in the cafeteria and play at recess. Don’t forget to ask your student about how they can be a responsible Explorer and flow in and out of the cafeteria!
Attendance: We have two weeks until our Winter Break. Please make school attendance a priority for your family as we know our teachers are planning amazing units of study in these next two weeks and we don’t want your Explorer to miss out!
