Parents Go To School Night

WCS at CapCUE Techfest
This past weekend, over 400 educators from the Sacramento region attended a local EdTech conference where fourteen Westlake teachers proudly represented our school as featured presenters.
5th Grade Survival PBL
Our 5th grade students created shipwrecks on Google maps, described their islands, explored how they would interact with indigenous people, and much more! Their final products were impressive!

Fall Festival: We’re excited to announce new additions to this year’s Fall Festival! We will have finger printing as well as the Bike Doc, so bring your bikes for free valet bike parking and a tune up! We cannot make this event happen without your support, so be sure to check out the opportunities HERE on how to get involved! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 22nd!
High School Info Night: Attention to all students and families – you are invited to our Pebblewood campus at 6:00pm on October 18th for the High School Info Night. You will be hearing from nine Sacramento area high schools who will present their academic programs. After the short presentations, students and families will have the opportunity to visit the high school information tables and ask questions. Be sure to add it to your calendar!

Fall Pictures: The Del Paso campus will take Fall pictures on Friday October 21st. These pictures are taken in uniform. Every student will take a fall picture and a class picture. Ordering packets will come home after break.
Morning Line Up: Our Morning Line Up time is a wonderful time for our explorer students and families to come together and build community. With our entire student body out on the blacktop at the same time, student safety is a priority. Please help us keep our students safe by making sure your student is following the times below for arrival to Morning Line Up.
7:00-7:50- Students check in directly at BASE
7:50-8:10- Students check in at the Cafeteria
8:10-8:20- Students may head to the blacktop (staff begins blacktop supervision at 8:10am)
8:20- Morning Line Up Begins
Math Monday: Please check here each week for the link to Math Monday. Come out to the lineup on Monday mornings to celebrate math with us.

Fall Festival: Remember to get involved in this awesome event. Your student’s homeroom or advisory teacher should be communicating and sharing ways that you can volunteer. Students in grades 6-8th can earn community service hours by volunteering at this event! If your student needs the community service hours log, please have them retrieve one from the front office.
