Winter Break already? Well, I’m certainly not complaining! Not only is Winter Break a great time to connect with our families, BASE gets to do all sorts of fun stuff we don’t have time for during a regular afternoon. Below, you will find details on the types of activities that are scheduled for break. But first…Let’s go over BASE closure dates for Winter Break.
BASE is CLOSED the following days:
December 22nd-26th, 2014
January 1st, 2015
BASE is OPEN 7am-6pm the following days:
December 19th (WESTLAKE ONLY)(STAR is open as on a regular school day)
December 29th-31st, 2014
January 2nd, 2015
Here are some, but not all, of our plans for a fun-filled break:
- Crafts that explore how New Years is celebrated around the globe.
- Fun with Food projects that give a lil’ taste of the Holidays.
- A New Years Eve party to celebrate the beginning of the New Year in a different country every hour.
December 19th
BASE is OPEN December 19th 7am-6pm with Del Paso and Pebblewood combined on the Del Paso campus (STAR is open as on a regular school day).
We will celebrate the first day of break relaxing in our PJS, watching MOVIES, eating POPCORN, and drinking HOT COCOA. We will also get them MOVING with MUSIC before and in between movies!
