September Opportunities to Collaborate:
Connect: Spend a day on campus connecting with other families, building community, and supporting our students by volunteering to help during the school day on September 25th for our Olympic Triathlon Event Day!
Engage: Check your teacher’s newsletter for information about what your student is learning, and bring it up at the dinner table with your Explorer! Showing that you are in the know about school makes it more important to your student!
Contribute: September is a big month for contributions! We need your time and talent during our Olympic Triathlon Event Day and we need your support through donations and fundraising to meet our Olympic Triathlon goal!
Celebrations

Our second grade Explorers welcomed grandparents to campus last week for a special day of reflection and learning! Together, they explored what life was like in the past, celebrating family heritage, culture, traditions, and personal stories. The students greeted their guests with open arms, beautifully rehearsed songs, and eagerly asked questions about childhood in years gone by.

Thank you to all of our families who were able to join us at the Coffee Talk! Our admin and WAVE shared updates on the Olympic Triathlon, Strategic Plan, and more!

What a great celebration of the incredible opportunities available to our high schoolers at Meet the Clubs last week! Students had the chance to learn about the many clubs and activities they can be part of this year, connect with peers who share their interests, and find their place in our school community.

Traffic/Parking Reminders: Please be respectful and mindful during our arrival and dismissal process. Following traffic rules is an essential part of maintaining a safe environment for children. This includes parking in designated areas, adhering to the instructions of school staff, and obeying traffic laws. Traffic laws help to ensure that students are not in harm’s way when they are entering and exiting vehicles. When drivers obey traffic laws, they are less likely to be in an accident or cause a disruption in the flow of traffic. Additionally, traffic laws help to reduce congestion and provide a safe environment for pedestrians.
