Thanksgiving Break: Both campuses will be closed for Thanksgiving Break Monday, November 21st through Friday, November 25th. We look forward to welcoming staff and students back on Monday, November 28th. 

BASE over Thanksgiving/Winter breaks: BASE will be closed over the upcoming Thanksgiving and Winter breaks.

Take Home COVID tests: Your student should have received a take home COVID test on Friday.  Please have your student test before returning to school on Monday, November 28th. This is not mandatory. Please do not report  negative tests. As always, we ask staff and students to report positive COVID-19 tests to contact tracing. CLICK HERE to notify our contact tracing team who will reach out to you with return to school timelines. 

Olympic Triathlon Update: Congratulations, Explorers! We have already raised over $50,000 in the Olympic Triathlon! It’s not too late to donate. Donations will be accepted through 12/1. CLICK HERE to set up a family donation page

Ways to Westlake: Thank you to all of our families and students who adapted this week to using the back gates as pedestrian exits.  As we return from break, please remember to:

Logging Volunteer Hours: Families have volunteered thousands of hours so far this school year which greatly benefits our students. Please take a couple minutes to log every hour spent supporting our students and helping build community including Olympic Triathlon, Fall Festival, field lessons, classroom help, home prep, meeting attendance, and more. Kudos: Thank you to each and every family that collaborated with teachers at our K-8 conferences. We saw hundreds of students leading conferences and sharing their work throughout the week. What a great end to the first trimester!
