A perfect candidate to lead as our Student Support Services (SSS) Director at Westlake Charter School K-12:

  • Is able to collaborate with entities and the organizations such as the El Dorado County Charter Special Education SELPA, to serve our WCS K-12 community

  • Has and promotes a Growth Mindset in students, staff, and our community
  • Has the interpersonal, listening, and teacher advocacy skills required to lead in a dynamic and innovative school culture
  • Is deeply committed to Shared Leadership
  • Is able to manage initiatives co-lead across several committees
  • Is a stalwart advocate of our fully inclusive program and a champion of diversity, equity, inclusivity, and cultural competencies
  • Is able to align decision making with the Mission, Educational Pillars, and the Core Values of Westlake Charter School including:
    • A commitment to ensuring a balance of Academic and Social-Emotional ReadinessThe development of Expert Learners as defined by the Guidelines for Universal Design for Learning
    • Aligning resources to assist in the promotion of the social and emotional competencies defined by the Collaborative for Social and Emotional Learning
