Ways to Westlake: Please explore our new website: www.WaystoWestlake.com. Each page of this new site includes maps and videos that will help each of us plan routes to and from our new #ExplorerCampus. If each of us plans in advance to Know the Roads, Know the Rules and Live the Core Values while we travel to and from school, we will be collaborating to make our community safe. Please, at the very least, check out the welcome video on our waystowestlake.com homepage today and Let’s Explore our new neighborhood!

SN&R Social Media Contest: We would love your help with getting the Sacramento News & Review article into the community. Please grab a stack from the office, ask your dentist, hairdresser, coffee spot, etc if you can place a few in their lobby. Take a picture of the SN&R in the community and use the hashtag #WestlakeCharter. There will be a prize for whoever posts pictures of the SN&R in the most creative locations and a prize for the post that gets the most likes on social media at the end of February! Have fun!

Talent Show: Our Annual WCS Talent Show is Next Friday, February 17th! Each year this event is a great opportunity for Explorers to shine and share their talents with the community. The Talent Show Committee is in need of parents volunteers and would love your help! Parking Lot Training: There are currently 9 families signed up for our Parking Lot Volunteer meeting. Please join us on February 16th for dinner and to learn how you could help to make our parking lot safer!  Earn two parent hours by attending this meeting.  Click Here to RSVP.

Tardiness:  Please ensure that your student is on time to school each day!  School begins at 8:20 am.  All tardy students must check in at the office before they join their class.

Dismissal: Recently, we have had more and more students not being picked up on time. If your student is not picked up on time and not signed out to walk home, then they will need to go to BASE. Please discuss a plan with your child so that if you are unable to pick them up on time at dismissal, they know to either check-out to walk, or check-in to BASE.

Talent Show: If your student wants to attend the talent show, they should be escorted by an adult. We look forward to seeing many of our students out at this awesome event!

Tardiness: Please ensure your student is on time to school each day! School begins promptly at 7:45 am.
