Our WAVE Team held their first Board Meeting of the year and it was a packed house! This year, our WAVE Parent Team has organized committees that will carry out all the fun events of the year! CLICK HERE to sign up for a committee. Once you sign up, the team will reach out to you and let you know how you can help! wave
7th Students in 7th grade math class are engaged in a PBL project, “Becoming a Travel Expert.” They are answering these driving questions, “How can you use mathematics to describe change and model real-world situations? How can you show that two objects are proportional? How can percent help you understand situations involving money?”

Thank you to our amazing families for making our Pebblewood Back to School Night such a success! I think this picture shows the commitment of our mission statement to partner with our families!

For the Whole School

Bingo Night:  Families, our WAVE Parent Team is working hard to create opportunities for our community to get together and just have a little fun. We hope to see everyone at Bingo night next Friday on the Del Paso Campus.

Club Launch: We are beginning the process to launch our parent-lead after school clubs! These were a huge success last year and we would love to see them grow this year. This program is a collaboration between our WAVE Parent team and Westlake Charter School’s BASE program. We need parent volunteers who can run an after school club once a week for six weeks! This session will launch the week of October 10th and conclude during the week of November 14th.Click this link for more info!

Infinite Campus Portals: The Infinite Campus Parent Portal and Student Portal are both active. Students have received their logins, passwords and instructions from their teachers this week. If you have any questions or any difficulties logging in to Infinite Campus please email [email protected]

For Del Paso:

Parking lot: Families, please remember to place the name placards on the dashboard of your car for all of the students you are picking up. On Tuesday, September 6th, any cars with missing placards will be asked to park in a visitor spot and check ID in the office.  Thank you for working in partnership with us to make our Westlake Charter School dismissal as safe as possible!

Sibling Table Wednesday Dismissal:   During Wednesday’s dismissal, any kindergarten student who has a sibling in 1st-4th grade, will be able to wait in the library with Ms. Rollins until 1:15 pm.  They will be brought to the front dismissal area at 1:15 pm to meet up with their older sibling.
