5 Board Game Night was a blast.  It was so much fun watching families laugh and visit as they played board games together.  Thank you to WAVE who has provided the opportunity for families to gather this year to build community!
The Ready? Set. Go! campaign had a strong start.  One parent commented that “It feels so safe out here with all of the staff watching the students.” Thank you, families, for your partnership.  go
8th Our 8th grade team is collaboratively working together to support our 8th graders as they prepare for end of the year activities! They have committed to helping our 8th graders hit their goals of promotion and the Santa Cruz field trip.  They send home weekly grade checks, hold 1:1 meetings with students, and keep a positive attitude throughout.  Way to go, 8th grade team!

Warm Weather:  As the weather gets warmer, please help your student come to school prepared to be comfortable, by bringing a water bottle, dressing in shorts and short sleeve polos, bringing a hat to wear when outside.  Please also see the message below from our PE teacher Mrs. Connelly regarding PE during warm weather:

With weather getting warmer, Ms. Connelley would like to remind everyone to please expect to have warm weather out in PE. PE will go indoors once the weather exceeds 95 degrees, and will remain outdoors until then. We must remember this month’s core value is perseverance, and understand that this is a part of being active!. As always, if a student is exhibiting early signs of distress, they will absolutely be allowed to take a break, get water, and go to the office if necessary.
