We are so excited to kick off our 2015-2016 school year tomorrow! It was awesome to see so many families out at Meet the Teacher today.  It was an amazing turn out!  You could feel the excitement in the air!

Here are a few reminders for the first day of school:

Middle School

All Middle School students, 6-8th grade, should report to the blacktop at 7:30am to get their schedule from their Advisory teacher. The lists of advisory teachers and their students will be posted on the office wall facing the parking lot. The students should then find their advisory teacher (who will be located on the blacktop) to retrieve their schedule. Their schedule will be on goldenrod paper and will be their “Golden Ticket” into 1st period.  All middle school students will need their goldenrod schedule to attend class. Students without goldenrod schedules will not be allowed to join their teammates in class.

TDap Immunization

All students entering our school in 7th grade or higher need to have a tDap immunization record on file – Students without this important booster shot cannot be admitted to class. If you already have updated shot records, you are welcome to email them to [email protected] or fax them our Pebblewood office at (916) 928-0337.

5th Grade

5th grade students will gather near the swings to meet their teachers beginning at 7:30.  Teachers will be outside waiting to greet their students.

At 7:45, our bell will ring.  Students will enter the classrooms and the learning will begin!

School Uniform

Remember your student should be in school uniform tomorrow.  Khaki or navy blue bottoms and white, light blue, or navy blue collared shirts.

Drop off

Our breakfast begins at 7:15. If your child is dropped off between 7:15- 7:30 they must go to the cafeteria where supervision is available.  If your student is dropped off any time after 7:30 they may go directly on to the blacktop.  At 7:45 the bell rings and school begins!

Pick up

Dismissal is at 12:30 tomorrow. Please do not park in the school parking lot during pick up. There are two lanes in the entrance of the school parking lot. The lane on the right hand side (as you face the school) is for Middle School Families.  The lane on the left hand side is for 5th grade families.  As we split these two lanes up it will allow the flow of traffic to move more quickly. If you have a middle school student and a 5th grade student, your middle school student will head down to the 5th grade pick up zone (which is in front of the multipurpose room) and wait with your 5th grade student. Thank you for your patience in the first few days of school as we get back into the routine.

I can’t wait to see you all tomorrow! It’s going to be an amazing year! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out! And as always…Let’s Explore!
