Dear Westlake Charter Community,
At tonight’s WCS Board Meeting, our board members unanimously voted to approve the employment of Mr. John Eick as Executive Director of Westlake Charter School! Mr. Eick comes to us with quite a positive reputation in the Natomas Community. John is currently the Director of Instructional Technology within the Natomas Unified School District. Prior to this position, John served in several capacities including Principal, Vice Principal, and Drama Teacher at Natomas High School. John is a Google Certified Teacher (which is a pretty exclusive honor) and he demonstrates his passion for education with his can-do attitude and his welcoming personality. John is completely jazzed to serve the students, staff, and families of Westlake Charter School. We will be working to provide a Meet and Greet opportunity for our families. He will officially assume his new role this summer, but will be on campus here and there over the next couple of months. If you see him around, please give him a warm WCS welcome!
